Learning Through Wonder.
Wonder All Around is a microschool and creative learning community where children learn by asking questions, investigating, making, sharing, serving, and reflecting.
Join the Interest ListA home for learning, not just a classroom.
We are not trying to reproduce a traditional classroom with more colorful walls. Wonder is designed as a home for learning—filled with books, plants, instruments, art, natural light, conversation, movement, questions, and meaningful work.
We want children to enter feeling safe and leave feeling capable.
Wonder does not begin with a bell.
It begins with a conversation.
Community Circle
The day begins by gathering together, greeting one another, and setting intentions.
Gratitude & Reflection
We pause to notice and name what is good, what is hard, and what we are curious about.
Story or Reading
Literature, poetry, and storytelling open the imagination and connect us to ideas.
Big Question
A question guides the day’s exploration across subjects and disciplines.
Hands-On Exploration
Academic learning through experiments, building, writing, mathematics, and investigation.
Art or Music
Creative expression woven into every day, not added at the end.
Outdoor or Nature
Time outside for observation, play, natural science, and physical movement.
Collaborative Project
Working together toward something meaningful that will be shared and celebrated.
Sharing & Reflection
The day closes by sharing what was made, discovered, or learned.
Seven studios. One interconnected learning community.
Wonder Literacy
Reading, writing, grammar, spelling, literature, storytelling, debate, and poetry.
Wonder Math Lab
Manipulatives, games, money, cooking, building, measurement, entrepreneurship, and logic.

Science, history, geography, nature, culture, and engineering through inquiry and projects.

Empathy, conflict resolution, communication, leadership, service, gratitude, and teamwork.
Monthly questions that guide the whole community.
Every expedition ends with a family exhibition where children present their work, answer questions, describe their process, and celebrate the work of others.

Changing the World
Every Friday is Wonder Project Day.
Children investigate, construct, paint, write, rehearse, film, design, test ideas, collaborate, and prepare to share their work. Projects are driven by curiosity, shaped by skill, and celebrated with the community.
More than a grade.
Progress may be documented through portfolios, presentations, exhibitions, performances, science fairs, concerts, teacher observation, individual conversations, child reflection, and age-appropriate academic assessments.
We want children to enter feeling safe and leave feeling capable.
We cannot promise that every child will become an artist, musician, scientist, writer, or performer. We can promise to create opportunities for each child to discover who they are, learn with joy, and develop the confidence to contribute something good to the world.
